1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the NEET Rank Booster website and web application at vivekos.com. NEET Rank Booster is an independent learning tool operated by Rupesh Yadav and is not affiliated with NTA, NCERT, or any coaching institute. In this policy, “we” means Rupesh Yadav, and “you” means a visitor or account holder.
Service operator: Rupesh Yadav. Contact address: BHU, Lanka, Varanasi. Privacy and data requests can be sent to [SENSITIVE].
Effective date: 28 August 2026. We will update the date when we make a material change to this policy.
2. Information you provide
When you create or use an account, we may receive your email address, authentication identifier, display name or profile information supplied by your sign-in provider, and account or onboarding choices.
When you use the study workspace, we process the information needed to provide the feature you request. This can include Chat questions and answers, selected NCERT or NCERT Plus context, Reading mode progress, practice questions and responses, confidence or mistake signals, Notes, Study Planner inputs, Preparation Intelligence inputs, and feedback you send us.
If you upload an attachment or another file to a feature that accepts uploads, we process that file to provide the requested feature. Do not upload passwords, authentication codes, financial information, or unrelated sensitive personal information.
3. Technical and analytics information
Our hosting, authentication, security, and error-monitoring systems may receive ordinary technical information such as request time, browser or device details, network information, and security events. We use this information to operate, protect, debug, and improve the service.
When Google Analytics is enabled for a deployment, the public site may use Google Analytics and similar browser technologies to measure page visits and product CTA events such as sign-up or feature-page clicks. These events are designed not to include Chat messages, Notes, question text, answers, or uploaded study content. The browser may also use limited local storage to avoid sending the same measurement event repeatedly.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts; provide NCERT Chat, Asking mode, Reading mode, Practice, Notes, resource viewing and downloads, and Preparation Intelligence; save and retrieve your study state; generate requested explanations or questions; respond to support requests; prevent abuse; protect the service; troubleshoot failures; and understand aggregate public-site usage.
We use study activity to produce activity-based guidance such as revision priorities, practice suggestions, and knowledge-map views. These are product calculations and suggestions, not guaranteed assessments of ability, examination results, admission, or future performance.
5. AI processing and study content
Some features use AI to answer a request, explain a selected source, generate practice questions, analyse practice signals, or provide study guidance. The relevant prompt, selected context, and any attachment needed for that request may be sent to the AI provider configured for the feature. The hosted Gemini path uses Google Cloud Vertex AI; other provider paths may be enabled for particular internal or product workflows.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. Check important information against the official syllabus, NCERT material, or the relevant official examination source. Fresh AI questions are not official NEET previous-year questions.
6. When information is shared
We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with infrastructure and service providers that host accounts, databases, storage, analytics, security systems, or AI processing. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may operate in countries other than where you live.
We may disclose information when needed to comply with law, respond to a valid legal process, protect users or the service, investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, or handle a business transfer. We do not sell your private study content.
7. Storage and security
Account, study, and resource-related data may be stored in Supabase services and related Google Cloud infrastructure. Private files are intended to be accessed through authenticated or time-limited signed links where the feature requires them; a signed link should not be shared publicly.
We use access controls, authentication checks, row-level access policies where configured, private storage paths, signed URLs, malware scanning for hosted PDF uploads, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service. No online service can promise that security incidents will never occur.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep account and study data while it is needed to provide the service and while your account remains active. If you ask us to close an account or delete personal data, we will verify the request and remove or de-identify data that we are not required to keep, subject to technical limits, security records, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
Operational logs, temporary processing records, and backups may remain for a limited period under normal deletion and backup-rotation processes. Some shared or official resource content is not personal data and may remain available after an account is closed.
9. Your choices and requests
You can stop using the service, sign out, delete Notes or other user-controlled items where the product provides that control, and contact us to request access, correction, account closure, or deletion of personal data. Email [SENSITIVE] with the account email, the request you are making, and enough detail for us to locate the relevant record. Do not send a password or authentication code.
We may ask for reasonable verification before completing a request. We will respond through the support channel and may explain when information must be retained for security, legal, or operational reasons.
10. Young users
NEET Rank Booster may be used by students who are under 18. If you are under 18, ask a parent or lawful guardian to review this policy and consent before you create an account or send personal information. Parents or guardians can contact us about a young person’s information using the support email above.
Everyone should avoid placing unnecessary personal or sensitive information in Chat, Notes, uploads, or support messages.
11. Changes and contact
We may change this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective or update date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will take any notice or consent step required by applicable law.
For privacy questions or data requests, email [SENSITIVE]. You can also read the Terms of Use and the public Contact page.
